The Garden Route is coined as such for its lush natural vegetation and “evergreen” look. With its glorious rivers, mountains, seas, forests and wildlife, it is no surprise that it is a very popular tourist destination. But behind the scenes, particularly for those of us who live here, there is work to be done to maintain, protect and restore its beauty. The information provided in this section is to help raise awareness around the responsibilities as landowners (and guardians) of this place we are lucky to call home.
